This restoration is a little bit hard because of the folds in the kids' faces. First, I did the border I used the rectangular marquee tool to select just the border then I used the paint bucket tool to color the border white. Then, I start removing the folds outside their faces because it's easier to remove the folds outside their faces. I used the Clone stamp tool for the folds inside their faces so I won't mess up their faces. The eyes of the girl in the middle was difficult to fix because the fold is really close to her eyes. That's why I'm really careful in doing the girl's eyes because it's hard to clone the shape and color of her eye. lastly I adjust the color of the picture, I changed it to black and white.
